Coffee Drop In. Every Wednesday between 10.30 & 11.30am at St. Mary’s. All are welcome, including small children and well-behaved dogs.
Quiet Space Take some time out from your day in this relaxed space for peaceful prayer & reflection, every Wednesday at St. Mary’s, 12noon -12.30pm Everybody welcomed and affirmed, whoever you are, whatever you believe or don’t believe. Following the first session there will also be a short, informal communion service for those who wish to receive.
St. Mary’s Stewardship Sunday 13th September. When we think and pray about our own personal and collective responsibility for our church, and how we respond to God through our financial giving, as well as in our time and through our talents. With an opportunity to make a fresh commitment.
Adventures of a Spiritual Traveller, Wednesday 16th September, 7pm at St. Mary’s. A multimedia presentation all about Dean’s spiritual and cultural journey across India last year. Find out about street children in Madurai, Hindu Pilgrims in Varanasi, the Anglican Church in Jaipur, and much more. More details here
Tinwell Gift Day Sunday 27th September – with afternoon tea from 3pm, more details to follow.
The National Emergency Briefing, Wednesday 30th September, 7pm, a 50-minute film featuring Chris Packham, at 7pm. Public screenings are being shown all around the country with an aim to raise awareness about the climate emergency and prompt the government into action. Following the film there will be time for discussion. More details here
Love, Joy and Peace In October there will be an opportunity to explore the Christian faith through discussion and guided meditation. Love, Joy and Peace is a 5-session course designed to explore Christian Spirituality without obligation or requirement. Open to everybody, and suitable for people of all stages in their journey. The course will be held each week in October, primarily on Thursday evenings, but there may also be a daytime option for anyone interested. More details to follow, and please contact Dean to express an interest.
