On Sunday 4th October  we’ll be gathering together at St. Mary’s for our Harvest Festival, at 10.30am which this year will be a united all age service with communion, everybody is welcome, both to the service and to the shared lunch afterwards. During the service we’ll be collecting non-perishable items for Stamford Foodbank, if you’d like to contribute, please consider the following:

St. Mary’s Bells The bells will be silent for a few weeks due to work being done to maintain the stonework in the Belfrey. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the bellringers for brightening our Sunday with the sound of bells, and we look forward to their return.

Quiet Space Take some time out from your day in this relaxed space for peaceful prayer & reflection, every Wednesday ,12noon -12.30pm Everybody welcomed and affirmed, whoever you are, whatever you believe or don’t believe.

Love, Joy, Peace An opportunity to explore the Christian faith through discussion and guided meditation. Love, Joy, Peace is a 5-session course designed to explore Christian Spirituality without obligation or requirement. Open to everybody, and suitable for people of all stages in their journey. The course is held each week in October, on Thursday mornings 10.30am at The Vicarage, 4 Edmonds Drive PE9 3TH.

Ketton Community Soup Lunches every third Sunday in the month at ketton Methodist Hall. 12noon – 1.30pm. 21^st October & 18^th November.  Enjoy homemade soup, with fresh bread, cheese & biscuits, fruit with a cup of tea or coffee. All are welcome, no charge but any donations for charity are welcome.

Angels Everywhere Festival Christmas is coming, and this Advent there will be “Angels Everywhere”. St. Mary’s, All Saints, and Ketton Methodist Church will be displaying Angels created by various organisations and individuals in our local community, each unique to them. There will be a planning meeting on Saturday 17th October at 10.30am in Ketton Congregational hall.

The Angels will be displayed from Saturday 28^th November, when there will be a special launch event at 10.30am at St. Mary’s, with entertainment, refreshments and children’s crafts, as well as an opportunity to admire the Angels. The Angels will remain with us until early January.

 All Souls Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving, Sunday 1^st November at 3pm. A special service to remember those whom we have loved who have died.  The names of those who we remember will be read out and there will be an opportunity for friends and relatives to light a candle in remembrance and gratitude.  There will be hymns, a time of silence and prayers will be offered. Anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one, at any time, is welcome.
