During Lent this year, we have been looking at “Inclusive God”; exploring how people often feel excluded by the Church, and how we can be more inclusive, inspired by the God who welcomes and affirms us all.
The phrase “Inclusive Church” is, ironically, a term which sometimes divides the church , with many wondering what this has to do with biblical teaching. If we take much of the Bible at face value, we can find reasons for excluding all sorts of people. However, looking at the person of Jesus, we find that Christ embraced the people which religion typically excluded or marginalised.
