Ketton and Tinwell Benefice

A tribute to Ketton’s Fallen

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.

The village of Ketton will honour the lives of its war dead (36 in the First World War and 10 in the Second World War) in a Remembrance Day Service on Sunday 9 November at St Mary’s Church. The service starts at 10.15 and all comers are welcome into the church then or simply to stand at the war memorial from around 10.40.

Church Road will be closed to traffic from 10.50 to 11.10 between the High Street and Chater Bridge.
